CoyoteCast x The Maddy Miller Show
This episode is a crossover between two podcasts and a few high school friends. Clay and Andy, hosts of CoyoteCast, join Maddy as a bit of a reunion. Clay shows his typewriter, Andy shows his model trains and the three chat about whether they think a college degree is worth it and about the podcast industry. Maddy’s Note: “As I talk about in the podcast, this collab may have been a long time coming, but it definitely came together fast at the same time. I DM’d Clay and Andy on a Wednesday and we recorded the next day… which is why the show itself is a little random and definitely cut shorter than we recorded (the episode is 40 minutes and we recorded for 2 hours). However, it was a fun one… much different than my normal shows. One reason it was fun to record with CoyoteCast is because it was one of the first podcasts I ever listened to. I hadn’t even really heard of podcasts until Clay and Andy started one when we were just out of high school. I remember listening and thinking “this is like a YouTube video but just the sound”. It was a weird concept at the time, but now podcasts are everywhere. CoyoteCast hosted a bunch of my friends and people I went to high school with, which made it fun to listen to. Clay and Andy even interviewed me back in 2019 (video posted below), which was my first ever exposure to podcasting. So all that to say… it’s fun to get [virtually] together with old friends and see where everyone is at and where everyone has come from. I recommend it.“
