You don’t want to read a couple paragraphs, right? So let me just give you a few highlights:
I graduated from Taylor University in 2021 with a BA in Strategic Communications
I did one year of a graduate program at Grand Valley State University (it was the College Student Affairs Leadership program) until I decided it was too academic for me and I missed being a creative.
My first big-girl job is the one I’m currently working in, which is being a marketing and media specialist at The Hauenstein Center at Grand Valley State University.
I currently freelance my podcast skills (sound engineering for one, editing for another) to two unreleased podcasts.
The Maddy Miller Show is a podcast I had for about 3 years and still have an incredible love for it, although I no longer make episodes.
On some Sundays, you can find me in the tech booth at Crossroads Bible Church mixing the worship music and doing production type stuff to make the service look smooth.
I love a good freelance project and have designed logos for a couple people. (Shoutout to Refocus Coaching (my dad) & Handyman Zach (my brother))
Fitness is a huge passion of mine! I just finished running the Amway Riverbank 25k in Grand Rapids - which was the longest distance I've ever run! I also love workout classes at the downtown GR YMCA & running with friends at Lyon Street Run Club.
I host this fun thing for my friends called SIPS on Saturday. (I also do all the aesthetic / creative / social media stuff for it!)
You will find me listening to music most of the time. I currently am listening to a lot of Billie Eilish, Maverick City Music, ELEVATION RHYTHM, Dua Lipa, musical theatre, movie soundtracks and anything that puts me in a summer mood.
In June 2024, I deleted my Instagram account... which was a big deal for me as a marketing girl and for someone who has had an account since eighth grade. However, so far, this decision has been good for my soul!

- During undergrad, I was an intern at the Calling and Career Office, president of a student org called Integration of Faith and Culture (the cool kids called it IFC), co-founded a farmers-market style event called Shop The Loop that still happens every semester on campus, and stole a pie from Honors College pie night every year because I was upset that I didn’t get accepted into honors.
