Maddy's note: "The way Emily and I met was what made this whole thing really sweet. I talk about it a little bit in the podcast, but I was with some friends at a game bar in Grand Rapids, MI (where I live) and I recognized Emily at another table. I told my friends "hey, I think that is the girl who does those logo redesigns on tik tok". It was actually my friend Taylor who convinced me to go and ask her to be on my podcast. Emily was SO sweet. Her and her fiancé were asking me all about my life and podcast and everything. It was all so exciting and Emily was so easy to communicate with, with setting up the date and everything. But my favorite thing about having Emily on is our friendship that came from it!"
